Released early Thanksgiving evening, Disney’s The Lion King live-action remake teaser trailer delivers some of the movie’s most iconic moments. Social media quickly pointed out that the remake is a shot-by-shot remake of the 1994 original which seems to be the same strategy used for the recent Beauty and the Beast live-action remake.

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters next summer on July 19, 2019, and will feature the voices of Seth Rogen, Donald Glover, Beyoncé, Billy Eichner, Keegan-Michael Key, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and more.

Disney’s lineup of your favorite childhood flicks scheduled for release in 2019 include  Dumbo, Aladdin, and Toy Story 4. A remake of Mulan has also been announced with a 2020 release date.
