Tonight, young women from all over the state will take the stage to see who is crowned Miss Florida. After a week of events including talent competitions and interviews about each contestant’s philanthropic platform, these ladies from Tallahassee to Palm Beach will gather one more time at the RP Funding Center for the finale. This evening’s winner will go on to represent Florida in the national Miss America scholarship pageant.

Earlier this week, The Lakelander hosted a luncheon at Mojo Federal to thank the sponsors of the print ad campaign that ran in the magazine. The Lakelander is a proud sponsor of the Miss Florida pageant and we wish all success to the participants.
