the dress
Maybe you spent your youth dreaming about what you would wear on your wedding day. Or, perhaps it never crossed your mind. Either way, shopping for the perfect wedding dress can be the most fun and exciting part of planning a wedding. Aside from the decor, the food, and the music, the dress is a way for you to express who you truly are on one of the biggest days of your life. But as important as the dress is, what’s more important is to let your beauty and love shine through. This is the day you will keep and hold in your heart forever. In pictures and in memories, you want to look back and remember how beautiful you felt, inside and out.
the look
Dreamy, classic, delicate, intricate, thoughtful. By choosing one of these attributes, or combining a few, you will most definitely create a look that’s personal and unique to you.
the lesson
Less is more. Keep it simple with clean silhouettes, while still adding detail by incorporating lace, beading, and stitching. Avoid anything too revealing, over the top, or distracting. Add fun and flair with a glam pair of earrings and use your shoes as a way to bring a funky aspect to your look. A few perfectly placed flowers in the hair or vintage looking hair pins can also pull
everything together with an understated elegance.
Vera Wang says it best, “ I want to see the dress, but focus on the woman”. The most important thing when choosing the perfect dress for your special day is YOU.
