After Hurricane Irma severely damaged the planned renovations to the 1924 Cash Feed Building for Catapult 2.0 in September 2017, the Catapult team was left with no options but to move forward with a new plan.
Catapult 3.0 is making good progress on the construction of their new 38,000-square-foot facility.
Currently, concrete is being poured for the walls which will be up within the next month or so. In addition to expanding on the services Catapult already offers, they will also expand kitchen space and introduce TheShop.Build, a maker space with 3D printing, woodworking, and a metal shop. Catapult 3.0 has a projected opening date of October 2019.
