Introducing, Amy Wiggins, The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce’s new President and CEO.
The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce has found a new president and CEO, Amy Wiggins. Wiggins, former executive director of Lakeland Symphony Orchestra, has an extensive community volunteer resume. Wiggins has served on the Board of Directors for both Lakeland and Polk Vision, is a council member of Lakeland Mayor’s Council on the Arts, is the current President of Polk Art Alliance, and is current Board Chair of Linking Community Now.
The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization consisting of almost 1,200 investor businesses, which makes it the largest chamber in Polk County. The chamber serves as a Catalyst for business success in Lakeland and aims to champion Lakeland’s thriving business community. “I’m honored to be afforded the privilege of working alongside Lakeland’s businesses as we set a vision for the next 100 years of Lakeland’s successful business community,” said Wiggins. “Together, the Chamber and its affiliates are setting a course to connect Lakeland’s businesses to resources that will directly impact the health of our small business community and the resilience of our workforce.”
