Halloween can seem like it’s all about the kids, but there are plenty of local holiday events adults can attend too. It’s debatable if you can ever surpass the feeling of a trick-or-treat candy buzz, but you sure can try!

Here are some events happening locally the day of the 31st for you, your friends, and your boo.

The Classic Chipotle Costume Visit

Every year on Halloween between 3 p.m. to close, Chipotle offers a significant discount on burritos, bowls, salads, and tacos if you come dressed in costume. The lines grow quite long, but an early start and a group of friends can definitely earn you a $4 “boorito.”

 Scream-A-Geddon

If you are looking for something a little more chilling, travel over to Dade City for a terrifying Halloween night. Scream-A-Geddon hosts over five different themed haunted walk-throughs. New this year is the “Rage 3D” theme, a sensory experience based off of an insane subconscious. Rumor has it, a clown with a chainsaw makes an appearance.

Buckingham’s Terror, Wasteland

Walk through a chilling experience of a wasteland and “survive the nightmare.” Best of all, it’s only a couple of blocks from Lake Hollingsworth. They offer student discounts as well. With such good prices and a close location, this is a can’t-miss.

Haunted Maze

If you can make a short drive, the Orlando Haunted Maze trail is a Halloween experience like no other. This one rates extremely high in scare factor, so if you are looking for a true Halloween scare-fest, this is the trip for you.

Polk Theater

Watch the classic Michael Myer’s “Halloween” on the night of the 31st under the stars of the historic Polk Theatre. This can be a perfect Halloween date night, or a thrill with a group of friends just in time to watch the newest “Halloween” at another local theater.
