Three of Lakeland High School’s best football players committed to the Florida Gators’ football team by submitting their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday!
They are four-star tight end Keon Zipperer (No. 136 overall), four-star offensive lineman Deyavie Hammond (No. 174), and four-star defensive end Lloyd Summerall (No. 237).
The signings are a part of a legacy that began with the Class of 2007 when the Gators landed three four-star prospects from Lakeland High School: Chris Rainey, Maurkice Pouncey, and Mike Pouncey.
The three commitments pushed Florida from No. 22 to No. 16 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
Here are some video clips of the signing trending on social media. For the full video and ESPN’s interview click here.
Lloyd Summerall’s dad has not been signed yet but it looks like he might be ready to commit and join his son’s new team.
