Mitchell + Holly’s Love Story
Best friends at first, now true loves forever.
The 22-year olds fell in love during their sophomore year at Liberty University, when they realized just how much they truly enjoyed each other’s company.
“Holly has an infectious personality,” Mitchell said. “She is super giving and hospitable and is really fun to be around.”
Holly said her husband rarely “meets a stranger” and aside from just being a great conversationalist, he embodies the traits she was looking for in the person she would call her husband.
“He’s so encouraging and supportive…even if I have like some dumb ideas, he tries to help me make it work,” she said. “He’s such a quality person and he surrounds himself with quality people, and I love that.”
The couple have ties to Florida – Holly grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, and Mitchell’s parents own a home in Palm Coast – but after their Lake Alfred wedding, they were back to being out-of-towners to the Sunshine State.
Life has been a whirlwind for the Fischers. They were engaged in October 2021, married four months later, and moved to Franklin, Tenn. immediately following their wedding.
They both work for Cisco – in completely separate departments – and they are excited to see what the future holds.
Why They Loved the Venue
- Holly first saw photos of Adams Estate on Instagram, and the location was nearly midway between where her parents and Mitchell’s parents lived.
- They loved the versatility of the venue. From the stately feel of the large white home to the timeless bricks that led to other parts of the wedding, and of course the serenity of the lake behind the home – Holly said it was an entire property to enjoy, instead of just one large gathering space.
- The Groom’s Loft and and the Bride’s Suite upstairs were expansive, well-thought out areas that were so nicely outfitted that Mitchell said “he didn’t want to leave the space,” after getting ready with his buddies.
Special Moments from their Day
“I’ m not a cryer and I told [Holly] don’t be sad that I don’t cry when you don’t go down the aisle. And then… cried when she walked down the aisle.” – Mitchell
“We did a “first look”…and we read we read each other letters. It calmed my nerves and we laughed, we cried. It was such a special moment between us.” – Holly
