Nicole Roe, founder and lead designer of the Lakeland based firm, says her team is always up for the challenge of incorporating people’s personalities and functional wish lists into living spaces, including in this recent one that incorporated an upscale golf simulator space.
“What began as a vision for a sleek golf simulator evolved into a full-fledged game room that seamlessly blends an elevated golf lounge with charming tree house vibes,” she says. “The space overlooks a serene lake, framed by a magnificent oak tree that brings nature right to the windows.”
The team’s goal was to create distinct zones within the room to maximize its functionality and appeal. Swivel seating allows for relaxed spectating and easy conversation. The custom bar, featuring black quartzite countertops that exude sophistication, is a centerpiece flanked with amenities galore.
There is also a nook—perfect for lounging and watching TV—a custom walnut bridge table created by Lakelander Robert Berganza, a pinball machine and poker table.
The renovation also included a stylish powder bath and an upgrade to the outdoor porch area.
The second zone is the custom bar area, a true centerpiece featuring black quartzite countertops that exude sophistication. We selected a stunning geometric and metallic wallpaper to add depth and interest, while open shelving keeps the space feeling airy. The pill-shaped island serves as a gathering point, complete with two wine fridges and a full-size fridge to keep everything from craft beer to chilled glasses within arm's reach.
We added a stylish powder bath to the space. The faux shagreen floating vanity and black cork-inspired wallpaper bring a touch of modern elegance, while the triangular marble flooring adds a unique geometric flair.

The update include upgrades to the outdoor porch area, making it a retreat to enjoy in the Florida sun.
