It’s no secret that Lakelanders take the 4th of July seriously, with one of the biggest festivities kicking off the weekend on July 3rd and events continuing through July 4th. Here are the details!

July 3rd

Where: Frances Langford Promenade at Lake Mirror | 501 E. Main Street in Lakeland
Music and entertainment begin at 6 pm with The City Saints; fireworks begin at 9 pm.

Where: Downtown Lakeland
This year, enjoy shopping and dining downtown as well as food trucks, vendors, and exhibitors on N. Kentucky Avenue, north of the railroad tracks, stretching down to Oak Street. The LDDA is partnering with the City of Lakeland’s annual “Red, White & Kaboom” and the Tampa Bay Food Truck Rally’s “Red, White & Food Trucks” to bring you “Red, White & Blue Snack & Shop.” Downtown shops and restaurants will be open late!

July 4th

Flying Tigers – 4th of July

Celebrate Independence Day with the largest fireworks show in Polk County, following the game. The Sofa Kings will perform between the game and fireworks, and then around 9 pm enjoy a 15-minute fireworks show.

The Red Top Pit Stop
Serving barbecue and burgers, this stop also offers a Southern breakfast as well as a range of platters and sandwiches.

Mission BBQ (Open July 3rd, Closed on July 4th)
 On a mission to serve all-American BBQ goodness for the love of our soldiers, firefighters, police officers, first responders, and all of our loved ones in the service. Their menu offers Texas-inspired oak-smoked brisket, slow-smoked pulled pork, turkey, chicken, and sausage.
