Publix, Where shopping is a pleasure.
There are two types of people in this world: those of us who enjoy the luxury of time and walking down the aisles of Publix’s crisp, easy shopping experience, and others who are overwhelmed by all things shopping or just need a few more options to expedite the grocery shopping experience. It doesn’t matter what type of person you are; options are always good.
Publix Supermarkets Inc. has announced that it is bringing home delivery to most of its Lakeland and Polk County stores beginning on June 28 through their Publix Delivery mobile App powered by Instacart. Publix Delivery does not require a membership fee, and it is the only service that offers alcohol and liquor delivery from Publix locations.
Other independent grocery delivery apps such as Shipt are one step ahead and are already offering grocery delivery services in the area, but, unlike Publix delivery, Shipt is a membership-based service.
